Travesia Coffee was born in 2023, inspired by the journey of a Colombian couple united by their love for coffee. Daniel, our Head Roaster, was born and raised in Colombia’s coffee region and has been immersed in the world of coffee since 2016. As a passionate barista and expert roaster, he has mastered not only the art of espresso but also a wide range of brewing methods, each revealing unique dimensions of flavour. Together, as lifelong coffee lovers, they set out on a mission to share the true essence of Colombian coffee—one rooted in tradition, craftsmanship, and an unwavering pursuit of flavour.
In Colombia, as in many parts of the world, coffee has been mass-produced, losing the soul it carries when nurtured with care from the start. That’s where our adventure began—rediscovering the delicate nuances of flavour, process, and variety that make coffee extraordinary.

We work hand in hand with coffee producers across Colombia, building direct and fair relationships that honour their craft and dedication. Selecting
Every lot we choose is a promise of excellence and authenticity.
Behind every exceptional coffee lies the wisdom of those who grow it. Our producers have spent years perfecting their craft — from cultivation to post-harvest — to bring out the best in every bean. Together, we select only highly scoring specialty coffees, each earning over 80 points by SCA standards. Every lot we choose reflects not just quality, but the dedication and expertise of the people who make it possible.
Roasting
Roasting is where science meets art.
Every small batch is crafted with precision, guided by years of study, experience and an endless curiosity for flavour. We roast with intention, to highlight the natural sweetness, balance, and complexity of each origin. The result is coffee that’s not just roasted, but truly brought to life.
Testing
Quality is never assumed — it’s tested.
After each roast, we perform a detailed cupping process to evaluate flavour, aroma, body, and balance. Only the coffees that meet our highest sensory standards make it to your cup. It’s our way of ensuring that every sip is as exceptional as the last.
